Counties expected to receive persistent rains include Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Meru, Embu, Tharaka, Nakuru, and Laikipia, with maximum temperatures reaching 30°C and minimums dropping to 7°C. Coastal areas such as Mombasa, Kilifi, Lamu, Kwale, and inland parts of Tana River, along with Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, and Kajiado, will also experience daytime and nighttime showers, with highs of 34°C and lows of 14°C.
Western and Rift Valley counties, including Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay, Migori, Kisii, Trans Nzoia, and Baringo, will see rain and thunderstorms on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, while sunny intervals prevail on other days. Northern counties like Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, and Isiolo will enjoy mainly sunny conditions, with brief midweek showers.
Residents are advised to take precautions against possible flooding, especially in urban areas, and to plan outdoor activities according to the forecast.
