Ruiru MP Simon Ng’ang’a King’ara marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by organizing a free medical camp at the Ruiru Chief’s Office.
The initiative, held in partnership with Lifeline Medical Centre, offered health assessments and consultations to persons living with disabilities.
During the exercise, the team also issued assessment reports to individuals who had previously undergone evaluations. These reports will enable beneficiaries to secure National PWD Cards, unlocking access to empowerment programs, social services, and support mechanisms provided by the government and other institutions.
The MP emphasized the importance of inclusion and access to healthcare for persons with disabilities, highlighting his foundation’s commitment to improving quality of life and promoting empowerment for all residents in Ruiru constituency.
