Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management, Hon. Moses Kuria, met with Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi today at the county headquarters to discuss the upcoming Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) county dissemination program.
This program is a critical step in realizing the goals outlined in Kenya Vision 2030.
The MTP IV, the successor to the third MTP (2018–2022), sets the stage for the final phase of Vision 2030 and lays the groundwork for the next long-term development plan.
It’s a collaborative effort between national and county governments, coordinated by National Government Administration Officers in each county.
Joining the meeting were Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service, Mr. Moses Gathecha, and Kiambu County Commissioner, Mr. Duncan Darusi.
The MTP IV dissemination program will be held at the Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology.
The program aims to engage local stakeholders, including business owners, community leaders, and residents, in understanding the plan’s objectives and strategies.
This engagement will be crucial for ensuring effective implementation and improved service delivery across various sectors in Kiambu County.
