Kiambu Town Member of Parliament, Hon. Machua Waithaka, has announced that construction of six additional classrooms at Ngegu Primary School is almost complete. The expansion is aimed at easing overcrowding and providing pupils with a more conducive learning environment, where they can focus on their studies without the challenges of congested classes.
Speaking about the project, Machua emphasized the importance of education infrastructure in supporting academic performance and overall student wellbeing. “Every child deserves a safe and productive learning space, and we are committed to ensuring that schools in our constituency meet this standard,” he said.
The MP also highlighted that the project is part of his broader development agenda, which includes upgrading existing classrooms, improving school sanitation facilities, and providing furniture and learning materials. He noted that these interventions are crucial in creating an environment where teachers can teach effectively and learners can thrive.
Machua Waithaka reaffirmed that his leadership will continue to prioritize educational development across the constituency. “Education is the foundation of our future. Our work does not stop here; we will continue to ensure that all schools receive the support they need,” he added.
