The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced over 800 job vacancies across ministries, state departments and government agencies, opening opportunities for Kenyans at both entry and promotional levels.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, December 16, the Commission said the recruitment targets a wide range of professional and administrative roles. Senior positions available under the promotional category include Secretary in the Government Delivery Unit and Economic Planning, Director and Assistant Director of the Foreign Service, Chief Engineer, Director of Domestic Trade, Secretary of Youth Development and Director of Meteorological Services.
Other promotional posts span human resource management, public sector reforms, regional development, social development and children services, with roles ranging from Civil Service Grade (CSG) 4 to CSG 7.
At the entry level, PSC is seeking Administration Officers, Human Resource Management Officers, Development Officers, Compliance Audit Officers, Accountants, Internal Auditors, Records Management Officers and Research Officers. Additional openings include policy analysts, ICT experts, supply chain officers and public communication assistants.
The Commission has also announced large-scale recruitment for support staff, including 300 Clerical Officers, 150 Office Assistants, 20 Land Information Officers and 55 Lands Records Management Assistants.
PSC Chief Executive Officer Paul Famba said full details and application procedures are available on the Commission’s website, publicservice.go.ke. Applications must be submitted online by January 9, 2026, at 5pm EAT. He cautioned applicants against fraudsters, noting that PSC does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process.
