The County Assembly of Kiambu Service Board (CAKSB) on Monday held a high-level meeting with the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) to review key governance and development priorities for the county.
The session, chaired by Assembly Speaker and Board Chairperson Hon. Charles M. Thiong’o, brought together senior Assembly leaders, including Vice Chairperson Hon. Eric Warugu and Board Member Hon. Joachim Njama.
The CRA delegation was led by Vice Chairperson Wilfred Olekina and Commissioner Dr. Isabel Waiyaki, accompanied by technical officers from the Fiscal Affairs and County Affairs directorates.
The two teams discussed ways to enhance equitable resource distribution in Kiambu, with a focus on improving Assembly infrastructure, boosting legislative performance, and strengthening civic education and public participation. Officials agreed to deepen collaboration to support accountability, transparency, and responsive governance.
