County Government Launches Major Road Rehabilitation Project in Ngoliba Ward

In a significant boost for local infrastructure, the county government has officially launched the rehabilitation of access roads in Ngoliba Ward. The Department of Roads has mobilized a specialized county roads unit equipped with graders, trucks, water bowsers, and roller compactors to oversee this crucial project.

The initiative kicked off today with the commencement of work on the ACK-Sadona access road in Maguguni. The project aims to enhance road quality through comprehensive grading, graveling, and compaction, ensuring smoother and safer travel for residents and improving overall connectivity in the area.

“We are committed to improving our road network to support economic development and enhance the quality of life for our residents,” said a spokesperson from the Department of Roads. “This project is a testament to our dedication to addressing infrastructure needs and delivering tangible benefits to the community.”

The county roads unit, fully equipped for the task, will be stationed in Ngoliba Ward for several weeks. During this period, the team will focus on repairing and upgrading various access roads throughout the ward, with a particular emphasis on high-traffic routes and areas that have experienced significant wear and tear.

Local residents have welcomed the news, expressing optimism that the improved road conditions will not only ease daily commutes but also boost local businesses and facilitate better access to essential services. “We’ve been waiting for this for a long time,” said one local resident. “These repairs are going to make a huge difference in our daily lives.”

The county government has assured the community that efforts will be made to minimize disruptions during the rehabilitation work and that updates will be provided regularly. As the project progresses, residents are encouraged to provide feedback and report any issues to the local authorities.

With this initiative, the county government reaffirms its commitment to developing robust infrastructure that supports sustainable growth and enhances the well-being of its constituents.
