Kiambu MP Machua Waithaka announces major progress on Riabai JSS lab as constituency schools get infrastructure boost

Kiambu Town MP Hon. Machua Waithaka has announced major progress in the construction of a new Junior Secondary School (JSS) science laboratory at Riabai Primary School. The modern facility, now nearing completion, is expected to significantly improve practical learning and strengthen science education for JSS learners.

Waithaka said the project forms part of his wider plan to ensure all schools in Kiambu Constituency have essential learning infrastructure by 2027. He noted that improved classrooms, laboratories and equipment will give learners a strong academic foundation and better opportunities in technical and scientific fields.

The MP reaffirmed his commitment to transforming public education across the constituency, saying his development agenda remains focused on delivering practical, long-term solutions for schools. “Yangu Ni Kazi Tu,” he added, signalling continued investment in education facilities to support academic excellence.
