KRA opens over 250 job vacancies, calls on Kenyans to apply before September 8

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced over 250 job opportunities across multiple categories, including graduate trainees, drivers, and technical officers, urging qualified Kenyans to apply before the September 8, 2025 deadline.

In a notice released on Tuesday, August 19, KRA revealed that more than 200 slots had been allocated for graduate trainees, alongside 50 driver positions. Other openings include a data centre operations officer, knowledge management officer, data integration officer, security tools operations officer, business application support officer, and revenue assurance officer.

The Authority emphasized that successful candidates must demonstrate high integrity, self-drive, and a results-oriented approach.

How to Apply

Interested applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through the KRA website at kra.go.ke. Candidates should:

Visit the careers section and register for an account.

Confirm their email address after registration.

Log in with their username and password to access the “Applicant Cockpit.”

Complete their candidate profile under “My Profile.”

Submit their application through the “Overview and Release” tab.

“All mandatory fields must be completed for the application to be considered,” KRA noted.

Mandatory Requirements

Shortlisted candidates will need to provide:

A valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

A valid Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) clearance certificate.

A valid tax compliance certificate from KRA.

A current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

The Authority stressed that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

KRA also reaffirmed its commitment to equal opportunity, encouraging persons with disabilities, marginalized groups, and minorities to apply.

“KRA does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or other fees at any stage of the recruitment process,” the notice stated.
