Kenyans planning end-year trips to national parks will enjoy free entry benefits after the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) announced special festive offers targeting group visitors.
In a public notice dated December 26, KWS said the promotion will run until December 31 and is aimed at boosting domestic tourism during the holiday season. The offers apply strictly to Kenyan citizens and come with specific conditions.
Under the incentive, families visiting sanctuaries and marine parks will receive free entry for one child aged between six and 17 years for every group of five people. Groups travelling in fully occupied vehicles will also benefit, with free entry offered to children or adults depending on vehicle size.
KWS further said visitors booking accommodation within parks will enjoy an additional night at no extra cost, with a fourth night free for guests staying three nights.
The agency said the initiative is part of efforts to make park experiences more accessible to Kenyan families during the festive period.
