Residents used the forum to reflect on progress achieved over the last two and a half years, highlighting key projects such as upgrades at King’atua and Kijabe primary schools, construction of two chiefs’ offices, rehabilitation of several key access roads, and improved learning facilities under the Masomo Smart program.
The MP later held another public participation session in Maingi, where locals outlined priorities for the next development phase. He also confirmed that the contractor working on the Escarpment–Kijabe–Maai Mahiu Road is expected back on site to complete tarmacking works, with additional plans for interior roads in Kijabe town, including those serving Kijabe Hospital.
