The Ndumberi Jitume ICT Hub in Kiambu Town is providing free digital skills training to young people in the constituency, under the leadership of MP Machua Waithaka.
Students are currently engaged in SEO classes as part of a broader curriculum covering Digital Marketing, Virtual Assistance, Graphic Design, Content Creation, Basic App Development, and Entrepreneurship. The initiative aims to equip youth with the skills needed to compete in today’s global digital economy.
Speaking at the hub, Waithaka encouraged students to take full advantage of the free courses, emphasizing that digital literacy is key to creating economic opportunities and entrepreneurial growth in Kiambu Town. Registration is ongoing for all programs, which are fully funded by the MP’s office.
“The digital economy is growing fast, and young people must be ready to harness these opportunities. Our goal is to empower every participant to develop skills that open doors to jobs, innovation, and business ventures,” Waithaka said.
