Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has earned a second master’s degree in economics within three months, marking a rare academic milestone among Kenyan legislators.
The lawmaker graduated from Kenyatta University on Friday, December 19, where he was conferred with a Master of Arts in Economics (Policy and Management). Nyoro was among four graduands awarded the degree during the ceremony.
The achievement comes just weeks after he completed a Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Nairobi, further strengthening his academic credentials in economic policy and management.
Speaking after his earlier graduation, Nyoro said the advanced training had deepened his understanding of economic issues and would help him better engage Kenyans on the state of the national economy.
The Kiharu MP has been vocal on economic matters, particularly public debt levels, which he has previously warned have reached unsustainable levels.
Following news of his latest graduation, Kenyans took to social media to congratulate the legislator, with many praising his commitment to education and public service.
Nyoro has also remained a prominent voice in national debates, recently criticising government focus on large infrastructure spending while essential services continue to face challenges.
