Residents of Kabuteti and Karangi villages in Gatundu South, Kiambu County, are calling on the government to urgently repair a collapsed bridge and a deteriorating access road that has become nearly impassable.
The road, a critical route for farmers transporting tea, milk, avocados, and other produce to nearby markets, has significantly worsened in recent months. Following the collapse of a key bridge linking the two ridges, locals have resorted to a makeshift timber and scrap bridge, which remains unsafe and difficult to navigate.
