The Social Health Authority (SHA) has shortlisted 38 candidates for interviews to fill four top director positions advertised on July 29, 2025.
In a notice issued on September 2, the authority confirmed it received 494 applications before the August 19 deadline. Out of these, 456 applicants were unsuccessful.
The positions on offer are Director of Provider and Beneficiary Management; Director of Benefits and Claims Management; Director of Corporate Services; and Director of Funds and Finance Management.
According to SHA, the interviews will take place on September 9 and 10 at its Nairobi headquarters, 10th Floor Boardroom.
For the Director of Provider and Beneficiary Management role, 10 candidates were shortlisted, including Hazel Jerrutai Koitaba, James Leiro Letangule, and Dr. Diana Marioni. Their interviews are scheduled for September 9.
The Director of Corporate Services post attracted nine candidates, among them Jackline Leitch, Mohamed Alio Ibrahim, and Phyllis Nyakiba, who will face the panel on September 10.
Another 10 candidates, including Solomon Omaria, Kandie Ng’ochot, and Tizrah Tracey John, will be interviewed for the Director of Benefits and Claims Management post on September 10.
The Director of Funds and Finance Management position also drew nine shortlisted names, including Peter Mutui, Osma Hassan Ibrahim, and Caren Awour Oduor.
SHA has directed shortlisted candidates to report at least 30 minutes before their interview time and carry original documents. These include a National ID, academic and professional certificates, plus valid clearances from HELB, KRA, CRB, DCI, and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
In addition, members of the public have been invited to provide any adverse information about the shortlisted applicants.
