Limuru MP John Kiragu Chege has officially launched the long-awaited tarmacking of the Thingati A and B road network in Ngecha/Tigoni Ward, marking a major infrastructure milestone for the area.
The project, commissioned on Saturday, January 17, 2026, is expected to significantly improve mobility, safety and economic activity for residents who have endured years of poor road conditions.
Speaking during the launch, the MP said the upgrade will ease transport challenges, enhance access to services and support local businesses. He noted that local labour will be prioritised to create employment opportunities for area residents.
Kiragu urged residents to cooperate with contractors and remain patient during the construction period, assuring them that temporary disruptions will lead to long-term benefits.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering development projects and fulfilling promises made to the people of Limuru.
