An eight-year-old girl was murdered in Theta village, Gatundu, Kiambu County. Her body lay in a tea plantation, sending shockwaves through the community.
Her family reported her missing on May 9, sparking an overnight search by relatives and neighbors. Sadly, they found her body the next morning, abandoned in the tea farm. Authorities revealed she had suffered multiple stab wounds to her neck, back, and chest. A sharp object caused deep cuts behind her right ear and on the right side of her head.
Police have started investigations to uncover the truth behind the crime. The motive remains unclear. No arrests have been made, but authorities urge the public to share any useful information.
Her body was taken to Gatundu Level Five Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination. Meanwhile, residents of Theta village mourn her loss and demand swift action from law enforcement. They want justice.
