The National Police Service (NPS) has emerged among the top exhibitors at the Eldoret National Show 2026 after securing several prestigious awards for its outstanding display, innovation and engagement with the public.
During the show’s awards ceremony, the service scooped first place in multiple categories, highlighting its growing emphasis on technology-driven policing and community interaction.
Among the top recognitions, the NPS won first place for Best Stand in Display and Presentation of Security Services (Government Organisation). The service also secured first place for Best Stand Embracing IT and Communication Systems, reflecting its increasing investment in modern policing tools and digital solutions.
In addition, the police service won first place for Best Stand that Interprets the Current Show Theme (Government Stand), demonstrating how security agencies are adapting to emerging technologies while strengthening public service delivery.
The NPS also performed strongly in other competitive categories. It took second place for Best Government Social Functions Stand and third place for Best Stand Promoting National Cohesion and Integration Development.
The awards recognised the police service’s efforts to showcase the different services offered by its various formations, including advancements in policing technology, forensic investigations and public safety initiatives.
Visitors attending the Eldoret show were able to interact directly with police officers at the stand, giving members of the public an opportunity to learn more about how the service operates and the innovations currently shaping modern policing in Kenya.
Through demonstrations and exhibitions, the service highlighted how technology and improved communication systems are being integrated into everyday policing to enhance efficiency and response to security challenges.
