The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has released fresh updates on the ongoing recruitment of police constables, adding new recruitment centres across 10 counties and correcting earlier advertised venues.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, September 30, the Commission clarified that recruitment dates remain unchanged but several venues previously omitted or wrongly listed have now been included.
In Kiambu County, recruitment will take place on October 7 at Alliance High School and October 8 at the playground next to Mwihoko Police Station. A correction was also made for Kabete Sub-County, where the new venue is Kirangari Vocational Training Centre.
Other updates include new and corrected venues in Kitui, Kilifi, Bungoma, Nairobi, Wajir, Tana River, Homa Bay, Kwale, Uasin Gishu, Tharaka Nithi, and Meru Counties.
The Commission also reminded applicants that National Youth Service (NYS) graduates who meet the minimum requirements are eligible, but must present themselves at designated county centres.
To qualify, candidates must:
- Be Kenyan citizens aged between 18 and 28 years,
- Hold a valid National ID,
- Possess a minimum KCSE mean grade of D+, with at least a D+ in English or Kiswahili.
Applicants are required to present their original and photocopies of academic certificates, testimonials, national ID, birth certificate, and NYS discharge certificate (if applicable).
Application forms can be downloaded from the NPSC website or obtained at Huduma Centres nationwide.
