Renovation works on nine classrooms at Ruiru Girls’ High School have been completed, paving the way for improved learning facilities and increased boarding intake.
The development coincides with the school’s upgrade from a Sub-County School to a County School, a significant milestone expected to widen access to quality education within Ruiru and surrounding areas.
Ruiru MP Simon Ng’ang’a King’ara said the improvements reflect continued investment in public education infrastructure aimed at enhancing learning outcomes.
School management has already begun admitting boarding students following the completion of the works, marking a new chapter for the institution as it positions itself to serve more learners under the county school status.
