A new group of young people has been enrolled at the Ndumberi Jitume Digital Hub in Kiambu Town, marking another milestone in efforts to equip youth with market-ready digital skills.
Kiambu Town MP Machua Waithaka said the latest cohort is undergoing free training in key areas including computer packages, digital marketing, graphic design, virtual assistance, artificial intelligence, content writing, e-commerce and transcription.
The programme also incorporates entrepreneurship, financial literacy and personal digital profile development to prepare participants for employment and self-reliance.
Beyond technical training, the hub offers free counselling and wellness services, underscoring a holistic approach to youth empowerment.
The initiative aims to position young people in Kiambu to compete effectively in the modern digital economy.
