Kiambu Town MP Machua Waithaka has officially launched tarmacking works on Ngegu–Edenville Road, a move set to enhance connectivity and improve transport within the constituency.
Concrete placement and compression works have begun, with a proper drainage system also being installed to safeguard the road’s durability and prevent water-related damage. Poor drainage has historically accelerated wear on local roads, and this upgrade aims to address that issue.
The MP said the project is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure, ease daily movement, and support economic activities in the area. Residents and traders are expected to benefit from smoother travel, reduced vehicle maintenance costs, and improved access to services.
The Ngegu–Edenville Road upgrade is seen as a key milestone in boosting local development, with leaders pledging continued focus on quality infrastructure that transforms lives and promotes economic growth.
