The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced three key leadership changes, with Nancy Ng’etich confirmed as the new Commissioner for the Shared Services Department.
In a statement on Thursday, KRA said the appointments are part of efforts to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance service delivery, and ensure continuity in its operations.
Ng’etich has been serving in an acting capacity since February 2023. Before that, she was Deputy Commissioner for Policy and International Affairs in the Customs & Border Control Department, where she played a key role in customs reforms, trade facilitation, and regional negotiations.
Alongside Ng’etich, the taxman announced new appointments in the Large and Medium Taxpayers Department. Rispah Simiyu has been seconded to the National Treasury and Economic Planning, while Doreen Mbingi, Deputy Commissioner for Compliance (East & South of Nairobi), will serve as acting head of the department pending substantive appointment.
KRA congratulated the appointees, urging taxpayers and stakeholders to support them in their new roles as the authority seeks to deliver on its mandate.
