President Ruto continues Ukambani tour, unveiling 58,000 title deeds and launching roads, power projects in Makueni

President William Ruto has continued his development tour of the Ukambani region with major projects in Makueni County, including the issuance of title deeds and the launch of key infrastructure projects.

During his visit on Tuesday, the Head of State presented 4,665 title deeds to residents 2,108 in Kasikeu and 2,557 in Emali as part of a larger plan to distribute over 58,000 titles across Makueni, Kitui, and Machakos counties. An additional 10,000 titles for Makueni are ready for delivery.

Speaking in Emali Town, President Ruto reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to land ownership reforms and rural development, saying the government is focused on empowering citizens through secure land tenure and improved infrastructure.

He also commissioned the construction of the Emali–Ukia Road and announced that 18,000 new homes will soon be connected to electricity.

The President was accompanied by his deputy Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Lands CS Alice Wahome, Roads CS Davis Chirchir, Labour CS Alfred Mutua, and Lands PS Nixon Korir. Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. and Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse were among the leaders who welcomed him.
