Days after President William Ruto formed a commission geared at fastracking the compensation of victims who were affected during the Gen Zs demonstrations Last year, now the opposition is raising speculation over the move.
Speaking in Kiambaa during a memorial service , Jubilee Party Secretary General lifted the lid by calling on investigations over claims that there were bodies dumped at the Longonot mountain over a week ago where the Lorry that was used to ferry the same allegedly stuck and bulldozers were sent to assist in evacuating it from the scene.
Kioni further said that there were plans by City Mortuary to dump over 295 bodies which they said were unclaimed despite most parents protesting that their children had been missing.
He called out upon the Government to be more open on the issue since Kenyans had now had a glimpse of the ongoings.
On the issue of voter bribery, he said there were plans to conduct rigging especially through the ID cards being submitted once people were being invited to statehouse whereby their details were being taken as a part of a larger scheme to ensure they never participated in elections.
On her part Kiambaa DCP Parliamentary candidate Damaris Waiganjo said they were also aware of the scheme since Kiambu county had witnessed most visits at Statehouse where their details were being captured as they were being lured with money.
