The construction of the Gikambura Modern Market in Kikuyu Sub-County, Kiambu County, which began in May 2024, has marked a major milestone in efforts to uplift local traders and modernize business spaces in the region.

By integrating facilities for value addition and digital access through the ICT hub, the market is expected to open up new opportunities for small businesses, farmers, and youth entrepreneurs.
