Two women were arrested in Thika, after allegedly drugging and robbing a male clubber, as reported by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
The incident occurred at VSpot Nightlife when the club supervisor noticed the women dragging the seemingly intoxicated man to his car.
According to the DCI, Before the supervisor could intervene “one of the women was seen spraying something on her breasts before she pulled the helpless male to ‘breastfeed’.” It was after this act that the victim lost consciousness.
The women then stole the helpless victim’s ATM cards and personal documents before attempting to flee.
With the help of colleagues, the supervisor detained the suspects until police arrived. Upon searching the suspects, police said, additional tablets of an unidentified drug were discovered in their possession.
The women were subsequently arrested and placed in custody, while the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The confiscated evidence has been sent to the government chemist for further analysis.
This disturbing criminal scheme serves as a sobering warning that club-goers should stay vigilant, party safely, and watch out for “predators” who use deception and drugs to take advantage.
